Exhibit Area

If you would like to exhibit at The 2017 Tulsa Workshop please email me at becky@memorialdrive.org.   Keep in mind that exhibit space is limited this year due to our new locations at the UPAC.  So early registration is important for securing a table.  

The TULSA WORKSHOP Exhibitor Information

 Arrival/Setup:  Table setup is from 1:00PM – 5:00PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Union Performing Arts Center (UPAC).  The UPAC is located at 6836 S. Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74133.  The UPAC is at the back of the Union High School campus.  When you arrive at the UPAC please check in at the information desk.  Due to the location, vendors will not be allowed to drive into the building to set-up.  Exhibitors will be responsible for providing the means to carry their products or displays in. 


Exhibitor Hours  : The Exhibit Area will be open from 8:00am – 7:00pm on Thursday and Friday, and 8:00am – 11:30 am on Saturday.  You may occupy your table as best suits your needs during exhibit hours.  If there is a session you want to attend simply have a small sign stating when you will return.  All electrical items must be turned off  before you leave each night.  


Teardown:  Teardown will begin 11:30 am on Saturday. All exhibitors need to be out of the UPAC by 1:00 pm.


Table Details:  Included in the $250.00 price are: 

  • 1 –  6 ft. table (please bring a table covering)
  • 2 –  Chairs 
  • Name in Workshop Magazine (if registered before publication deadline)


Advertising:  The Tulsa Workshop offers several opportunities to advertise during the workshop.  Magazine Ads, PowerPoint ads (which run during breaks in the pavilion), flyers etc. may all serve as a means to provide extra exposure for your table.  Please go to our website www.tulsaworkshop.org for more information on advertising.


UPAC Rules:  There will be no posting of announcements of any type in hallways, restrooms, walls or public areas.  You cannot tape, nail, or otherwise affix anything to floors, pillars or walls.  There is a $10.00 fine per item for not adhering to this rule.  There can be no lit candles or flammable substances of any type.  No helium balloons can be used, sold or given away.  No stickers may be distributed as a promotional item.  All areas of the UPAC are non-smoking.  Failure to comply with these rules will result in extra charges being incurred by your group.


Electricity:  Electricity is very limited.  If you do not need electricity to run your booth, please do not sign up for it.   If you simply need electricity to keep your phone charged, you can use an outlet at the information booth without any charge.  There will be a charge of $25.00 if you register for electricity.  You will need to bring at least 100-foot extension cord and a power strip if needed.


Wireless Internet:  There is public WIFI at the PAC.


Products & Services:  The Exhibit Area is reserved for exhibitors whose mission, product(s) and or services clearly contribute positively in various environments to various demographic groups in areas such as worship, music, preaching, educational ministry, group life/fellowship, Christian service, evangelism, cross-cultural missions, health, recreational ministry, membership involvement, counseling, benevolence, leadership, management, administration, office services, financial service, and/or are a part of the life and ministry of Christ’s church and/or individual Christians.  The determination of whether your organization falls within the exhibit area guidelines is left to the discretion of the Workshop Coordinator and Workshop Director(s).


Security:  The UPAC will have security on the premises. However, do not leave purses, billfolds, or other items of personal value in an unoccupied booth. Remove all cash from cash registers.  The workshop is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.


Taxes:  If you are selling at your table you are required to pay Oklahoma Tax.  I will have a form for you to fill out at the workshop.  If you have an Oklahoma Tax ID number, you do not need to fill out this form. The tax rate at the writing of this information is 8.517%. (This number subject to change if Oklahoma tax rates change).  You must send your tax payment by check or money order within two weeks of the workshop.  You will send your tax payment directly to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.  Their address will be provided on the tax form you will receive at the workshop.  The Workshop is required to send a list of all vendors to the Oklahoma Tax Commission after the show.
